Your responsibilities

Sales

  • Identification of sales targets and initial contacts from new and existing clients, primarily hedge funds and CTAs, but also Market Taker Banks and brokers
  • Generate new leads and expand footprint
  • Arranging meetings, presentations/pitches and follow-ups
  • Leverage sales enablement in advancing and closing deals
  • Full responsibility for individual revenue generation and profitability in dedicated sales area

Account Management

  • Keeping contact with active clients on a regular basis in dedicated sales areas
  • Retain existing business levels and win additional business by up-selling to current client-base
  • Initial trouble shooting of non-technical problems
  • Fetching client feedback to report to the relevant product leads
  • User training (if required locally)

Business Development

  • Liaise with country industry associations for hedge funds and CTAs as well as market taker banks, broker dealers and retail brokers
  • Liaise with local market participants such as OMS/TMS/PMS vendors and consultants
  • Liaise with local sales teams of banks and market makers
  • Win market intelligence from existing contacts and feed them into the organization
  • Work closely with global sales force to maximize on global customer relationships and cooperate as a member of a team in global sales opportunities
  • Maintain relationships with established portfolio clients and pro-actively work with them to maximize client revenue potential
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio client trading activity and identify areas of opportunity to improve pricing coverage that will lead to increased trading activity
  • Organize and/or attend regular networking events with local market professionals
  • Propose and organize necessary events in coordination with Marketing and Managing Director

Your profile

  • Skilled Sales person with solid contact portfolio on senior level in hedge funds and CTAs, as well a market taking banks, ECN users and broker dealers
  • 10+ years of practical experience in global markets sales & trading environment or financial service industry
  • Reliable and capable of consolidating customer loyalty and performance through constant advisory and identification of requirement
  • Proven track record in selling trading solutions to the financial community
  • Higher education in banking, business administration, computer science or equivalent
  • Credible, persuasive, well-presented with excellent communication, presentation and execution skills
  • Service and detail-oriented
  • Highly motivated, entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, team player
