Your responsibilities

Market Surveillance

  • Act as hands-on operational lead for 360T’s market monitoring operation, and coordinate, and participate in, day-to-day monitoring activities.

  • Support and advise Head of Risk and Market Oversight in:

    • handling of all market-surveillance-related matters, including the raising of suspicious cases with the relevant regulatory authority; and

    • developing and maintaining 360T market surveillance capability, and ensuring market surveillance coverage evolves over time to reflect changes to business, external environment, evolving industry standards and regulatory expectations.

Market Supervision

  • Act as hands-on operational point contact for 360T’s interdepartmental market supervision activities, and coordinate, and participate in, day-to-day operational activities.

  • Support and advise Head of Risk and Market Oversight in:

    • handling of all market-supervision-related matters, including handling of trading exceptions and due processing of incidents and incident reports; and

    • developing and maintaining 360T market supervision capability, and ensuring market supervision coverage evolves over time to reflect changes to business, external environment, evolving industry standards and regulatory expectations.

General

  • Support and advise Head of Risk and Market Oversight in promoting culture of fair and orderly trading.

  • Act as subject matter expert in relation to 360T’s compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Cooperate effectively with relevant counterparts, including Deutsche Börse Group colleagues, on market-oversight-related matters.

Your profile

  • University degree.

  • 7+ years relevant experience in financial services.

  • Good awareness of the wider business and regulatory environment and ability to understand the potential impacts of market and regulatory changes on 360T.

  • Experience of people management.

  • Good communication and conflict-resolution skills.

  • High degree of independence and process orientation, with good analytical and conceptual skills.

  • High degree of accuracy and clarity in written documentation.

  • Decision-making ability and results orientation.

  • Team spirit.

  • Full business proficiency in English, both orally and in writing.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products.

Specific skills and experience

At least three of the following:

  • Sound understanding of the European market abuse regime, and surrounding policy context;

  • Sound understanding of the European MTF regime and US SEF regime, and surrounding policy context, including Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/584 on algorithmic trading (“RTS 7”);

  • Sound understanding of the transaction workflows for wholesale FX;

  • Operational experience of an electronic trading venue;

  • Operational experience of Scila Surveillance, or any other third-party market surveillance solution;

  • Operational experience of algorithmic trading;

  • Experience of IT-focused compliance projects;

  • Experience of data-intensive projects.
