Your responsibilities

​As Head of Business Client Advisory Services EMEA you ensure an excellent client experience by delivering efficient and valuable business support to clients as well as other internal and external stakeholders. The role includes the responsibility for the development of the Business Client Advisory Services team in terms of operation, coordination, resource- and project-planning, quality assurance and risk management / compliance.

Management
Lead and effectively manage the EMEA Business Client Advisory Services Team. Guide, motivate and train team members. Implement processes and procedures to meet requirements of the team, the global business support function, the organization and its clients.
 
Daily Business Support Work
  • Organize and manage the daily business  
  • Seek to actively improve service-excellence  
  • Ensure coordination with regional Client Advisory Services teams  
  • Implement high-quality standards and procedures for the team

  • Define and document internal processes  
  • Analyze resource requirements and workload  
  • Plan team growth and structure
  • Identify key trends and automation targets
  • Monitor and implement risk mitigation measures
  • Assist the team to work down peaks 
 Relationship Management
  • Maintain and build relationships with key client contacts
  • Ensure good communication with other internal teams (regional Client Advisory Services teams, Compliance, Legal, Projects, Sales, Technical Client Advisory Services, etc.)

Your profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry (client services / middle office / back office of a global markets sales & trading division or other FX or treasury environment)
  • Good academic background within a related field, university degree or equivalent (e.g. ACI dealing certificate)
  • Great organizational, communication and leadership skills  
  • Strong sense of customer service with attention to details
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • High level of conscientiousness
  • Excellent work ethics and “leading by example”
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
  • Very good level of verbal and written English and German. Other languages are a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office
